BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Leonard’s Church (2), Otterford

Near the gate Shows 4am to 8pm in 15 and 7.5 min intervals. A motto on the dial reads: "Sunny Hours". A motto on the plinth reads "Until the day break and the shadows flee away". This is a memorial dial to Frederick W Hayden d 26.11.33. Mrs Gatty records a horizontal dial here with motto: "Time Flies", presumably a predecessor dial.
