BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Somerset

The dial is mounted on a round stone pillar with a square top in a corner of the churchyard. Shows time from 4am to 8pm in 5 min intervals. The gnomon is broken. An indistinct motto reads: "Thou seekest the houre but as thou w.. .. It speedeth fast awaye". There is an 8 point compass rose.
