BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Gwynin’s Church, Llandygwynnin

The dial is held to the wall of the church tower by four crude iron clamps. It uses upright hour numerals VI - XII - IV - VI, with a noon gap, divided to 30, 15 and 5 minutes intervals. Construction lines are still visible on the dial plate. A nearby plaque mentions the names of Churchwardens and gives the date of 1840 for rebuilding of the church. Mentioned in ’The Anglican Churches of Llyn’. The dial is very similar to SRN 8250 at Llangian, which is only 4 km away.
