BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Polebarn Hotel, Trowbridge

This is an interesting circular vertical declining dial mounted on the brick wall over a door at the rear of the hotel. Simple (though original) iron gnomon. Sadly has most of its lines painted out. Shows 5am to 5pm. Some morning hour lines visible and faint Roman numerals for VII & VIII. Date taken from that of building.
