BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Dial House, Chadwick End

Situated on red brick chimney stack of timber framed house about 1.25m SE of Knowle on A4141. Black lettering on white stone ground. Hour lines only 6am to 6pm. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals strangely drawn: 6-8am and 2-6pm drawn to be read from inside the dial; 9am from outside and 10am to 2pm from below the dial. Visible from A4141. Size may be 600w x 710h. Passing ref in Eden & Lloyd (p129) may refer.
