BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cornwall

Motto reads: "Thou by the dial’s shady stealth mayst know time’s thievish progress to eternity". Latitude is for 49 deg 30 mins - wrong for this location. 5 min marks. Dial was gift from wife to husband and bears their initials and date. Mounted on a sandstone baluster pedestal with square stepped base and octagonal top surmounted by a slate circle.
