BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Baptist Church, Brokenborough

The dial is on the east wall of the ridge. It appears to be a copy of original dial (SRN 3385) - whose fate is unknown. SE face IV - XII; NE face no hour marks; W face III - VIII. Section out of NE face reproduces ’Broken’ dial. Curious sickle-shaped blade like a gnomon on the S side.
