BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Alveley

The dial is carved into the buttress, to the right of the porch. It has perforated sheet gnomon believed replaced 198x. Roman numerals with VIIII for 9. No 6 o’clock line. Hour line angles suspect because gap 6am to 7am and from 5pm to 6pm seem too large.
