Dial in Cornwall

A 19th century bronze horizontal dial can be seen at the hotel entrance. It has the motto ‘Horas non numero nisi serenas’, and an Equation of Time scale. It was made by Aston Mander of London. A spirally fluted baluster-shaped stone pedestal with an octagonal capital supports the dial.
