BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Lawrence, Bourton-on-the-Hill

The dial is located between the two windows to the right of the south porch. There are two mass dials nearby; this is marked ’a’ on the second picture. The dial is set into the wall on one stone. No numerals are apparent but the delineation is ’scientific’. There are clear gnomon mounting holes on the dial face. Probably an early scientific dial.
