BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Sepulchre-without-Newgate Church, City of London

Blue band separates chapter ring from dial. Dial is on the parapet above South wall of the nave. Numerals are painted. Noon is marked by engraved ’X’. Uses IIII. Dots mark half hours. Shows time from 8am to 7pm in 15 min marks. Date of dial may be 1681 according to C Brown, Church Warden 24/8/98. Ref: Henslow ’Ye Sundial Booke’, Foyle Ltd, London, 1935, p222.
