BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Collingridge House, Lambourn

This horizontal dial has a marble plate with much of the fine detail worn away since it was first made in 1772 by W.Wilson whose name appears on the dial. It is octagonal and measures 498mm from side to side. Also on the dial plate is the latitude 55° 19 which shows that the dial must originally have been sited in the Scottish borders. It is mounted on a Portland & Hornton stone baluster plinth 1150mm high. This dial can only be seen by appointment.
