BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Stephen’s Church, Willington (Low)

The dial is above the porch, and the weathered sandstone surround appears earlier than the undated dial itself. A circular time ring is set in a lozenge and mounted in an unusual square deeply carved stone frame. Flower décor in lozenge spandrels. Gnomon with scalloped underedge. The dial is very similar to the one at Elvet Hill House beside the Oriental Museum in Durham, dated 1843.
