BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael’s Church, Begbroke

Rectangular vertical dial on the south wall of the nave. The dial is under the eaves, which shade it at certain times, but it is well protected from the weather. The hour lines end on a semicircle round the gnomon root. There are short half hour ticks inside the chapter ring. The hour numbers are vertical Roman numerals, using a cross patty at noon. The gnomon is a solid metal sheet. There is an illegible motto along the top edge of the dial.
