BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter’s Church, Marsh Baldon

Circular Saxon-style but probably Norman period mass dial. The dial is now covered by the porch. It is circular with a rope pattern round the outside. There are six lines and a hole for a horizontal gnomon. Authorities differ as to the age of the dial and of the church which seems to be late twelfth century. The church is at the south end of the village. It is easy to miss it. References: Cole, Mee and "A Guide to the Churches of Oxfordshire", J Sherwood p118. ISBN 094697603. Also discussed by Pevsner and the Victoria County History of Oxfordshire.
