BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St James’ Church, Snitterfield

The dial is on the south wall of the clerestory but is firmly mounted with dog nails well off the vertical. The numerals are raised as might be expected with a cast -iron dial. The iron strip gnomon has an ’S’ scrolled support at its tip.
