BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Shropshire

Unusual dial in the centre of the churchyard, having inner disc secured onto another larger disc. The three fixing screws for this inner disc appear to be steel and are corroding. Gnomon is positioned so that time before 6am and after 6pm is not shown. Marked ’R Brightland and J Rou----. CH Wardens’. Shows 6am to 6pm in 30, 15, 10 and 5 min marks.
