BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Hampshire

Spectacular dial. Black background with sun-ray hour lines in gold and with gold sun ray motif behind showing half hours. Gold on black scroll border and two white clouds above gnomon root. All inset in ornate marble (like) surround under apex of roof. Previously Townhill Park House, built around 1790, and extended and re-designed by L. Rome Guthrie in an Italian style in 1911.
