BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrews Church, Middleton

The dial located above the porch door declines 12 degrees West. A circular dial set in stone wall with artistic ’base’ support. Cracked top to bottom. Few numerals visible. Believed to show 5am to 8pm at 30 min intervals.
