BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Old Hall, Coxwold nr Thirsk

Dial on an angled stone block. Located on the lintel over the gate. The last digit of the date is uncertain, 1789 or 1781. Incised figures in 3 ins border, shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Numerals from 3pm worn. Strip gnomon with single supporter.
