BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Manchester (Greater)

The third dial in this sun-loving churchyard is a brass one, inset into the octagonal top of a tapered, 1 m high square section stone plinth. The motto reads: "Tempus Fugit". The plinth is engraved to the memory of a man who "only counted the sunny hours".
