BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Dorset

The dial is in the private gardens. Motto (on Sth face) reads: "Time Flies". North gnomon mounted upside down. Photos in archive show dial with statue on top. This has since (1997) been removed for safe keeping. One photo 1997 shows this. Fully refurbished by 2017, with statue, north gnomon corrected, and E and W dial labels now correct.
