BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The circular dial is inset into a square frame in the south wall of the tower, about 40’ up, with leafy decoration in the spandrels. Mottoes above and below read: ’Watch and Pray’ and ’Time steals away’. The dial declines 38° east of south, the time scale showing 5am to 3pm in half and quarter hours, with 4:15-3:45 marked. The gnomon was recently replaced (2001 - H James) and placed on the substyle line - where there appears to be a gap. There are sun’s rays above the horizon line. The size is also stated as 760diam.
