All Saints’ Church., Sandwell

This sandstone vertical South dial on the church tower is in remarkably good condition since it has had to survive a heavily polluted industrial atmosphere since it was erected in the 19th century. It shows the hours VI to VI divided into halves and quarters. Across the top are the names of the churchwardens of the time, T.Jesson & T.H.Beeson. The dial measures about 900mmw x 600mmh.
