BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial Farm, Emneth

Visible from A1101. Hour lines, half and quarter hour lines, most lines having inward pointing arrow heads. Quarter hour lines only in less crowded areas, 6 to 8pm. Gnomon root surrounded by an inclined rectangle, itself surrounded by an orthogonal rectangle on which the hour lines terminate. From this latter rectangle sprout two curves and the gnomon shadow at about 11:55 would appear to touch their extremities. Does this have some significance? Dial set into brickwork on parapet of building, above the front door.
