BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Loseley House, Guildford

Loseley House ia 1.5 miles SW of Guildford, and the dial is in the Walled Garden. It has a 16-point compass rose and the inscription ’G Adams, ??? Street, London’. Hour numerals are Roman, for 4am to 8pm, with minutes numbered in 10s. The engraving is fine but the patination heavy.
