BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Sussex (W)
The dial is on the south wall of the garage and is visible from the road. The motto reads: "Pleni sunt coeli et terra gloria ejus". There are analemmas on the hour lines. Solstices months & Equinox lines. Compass 16pt. The gnomon is wrongly aligned but the tip indicates time fairly accurately.
The designer and owner sadly died in 1998.
The dial was reported by Andrew James, June 2010, to be probably lost to re-building, with some very slight uncertainty about identifying the right location. Confirmation welcome.
