BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Witcombe Park (1), Great Witcombe

South wall of Manor House tower. Just visible from public footpath. Motto reads ’Nondum Metam’, variously interpreted as ’I have not yet reached my goal’, ’I shall not fear yet’, ’I am not yet finished’. The gardens are open just twice a year.
