BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Uffington

Rectangular vertical south-facing dial on a buttress to the left of the porch. The dial has full length hour lines, but no other markings are now legible. The triangular sheet metal gnomon has some damage to its lower edge and tip. Three sides of the dial stone have an unusual block and gap pattern décor. The dial is retained to the wall with iron dog-nails.
