BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Suffolk

Horizontal sundial mounted on a buttressed square brick column and capital, set upon a large circular brick plinth. The dial shows the time from 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 7.5 minute divisions. There is a sun face at the centre and a motto which reads: "Docet Umbra". It was presented to the town by Lord Woodbridge in 1935.
