BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The dial is mounted on the gable end of the house, at first floor level, overlooking the A6 road, and best viewed from the A^. It has upright numerals VI - XII - IV - VI, with hour lines to the inner-most of three semicircles around the gnomon root, and half and quarter-hour marks.
