BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Foxton Canal Museum (2), Foxton

This is one of a pair of dials (with SRN 3577) on the southern corner of the building, and declines south 30.4 deg east. It uses upright Roman numerals VI - XII - IIII - V for BST, hence 1 pm is the vertical. Hour lines to a blue filled semi-circle around the gnomon root, with no subdivisions. The numerals and lines are brass wire. The rod gnomon has one straight support. Above the gnomon root is a metal full flowering sun in grey or blue. The motto reads: "The Sunny Hours", and is shared with SRN 3577. Article to be published in BSS Bulletin.
