BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Monmouth

The dial is on the path from the gate, at the north-west corner of the church. It shows 4am to 8pm in Roman numerals, using IIII for 4. The gnomon is missing, and the noon mark is currently pointing to the east. The stone bulb pedestal has an octagonal support slab, and is surrounded by iron railings about 1m x 1m.
