BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

The motto reads: "Preteritum nihil praesens instabile futurum incertum". Planispheric projection with altitude & azimuth scales. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15,10 and 1 min marks. It was reported in 2000 that the dial had been removed from its pedestal by the owners and taken in to the house for secure storage.
