BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Drinking Fountain, Dublin

Four vertically aligned elliptical dialplates that decline 8.8 degrees, on a 9.7m pillar aligned with the road. South(ish) face shows 6am to 5pm in hours. Uses XII and IV. Ornate surface mounted gnomons. The north face holds the date. Restored 1994/5. Ref: CIRCA Art Magazine 96, Summer 2001 p25.
