BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Aegon Scottish Equitable, Edinburgh

The dial is set in a large lawn in front of the office building. Designed as a sculptural feature, gnomon in form of a curved sewing needle, symbolising a stitch in time. Delineated by Chris Daniel. The needle end, forming the gnomon, is of stainless steel, the curved end of smooth stone.
