BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin Parish Church, Marlborough

The dial is on the wall over the porch. The wall declines 10 deg W of south. Curved gnomon support. May have previously been a painted dial but there is a trace of a border line carved into the stone at the mid-morning shadow’s edge. The church was totally destroyed in fire in 1653. Probably built over when the porch was erected in 1844. Not to be confused with Malborough nr Salcombe in Devon.
