BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Weir Cottage, Hertford

Motto reads: "I Showe ye Sunny Tyme". Double ’U’ shaped chapter ring with sunface at root of gnomon. Shows 6am to 6pm in half hours. Noon gap. Six hole fixing to pargetted house wall. Thick gnomon and curly supporter. Overlooks river and is visible from car part.
