BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

5, Bridge Street, Richmond

A vertical declining stone dial restored 2008 by Alan Smith. At the top, motto: ’Ut Hora Sic Vita’. In the centre, inscribed ’W. Hutton / Fecit 1720’. Declination lines in white for Solstices and Equinox, labelled ’Cancer’, ’Capricorn’ and ’Equinox’ at their right hand ends. Rest of the dial blue/grey with incised numerals and furniture. Upright Roman numerals IIII - XII. Bar gnomon with curlicue support.
