BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Manchester (Greater)

The dial was moved to its current location, probably in the late 1950s when its original home had fallen into dereliction. Its date of 1658 (the date when the Hall was substantially rebuilt) certainly makes this horizontal bronze dial worth preserving in commemoration of its past, though it is not in good condition.
