BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Arley Hall (3), Arley

The dial is in the lower garden near the ha-ha, set on a red sandstone pedestal with a circular top about 600 diam. The motto reads: "Shine not for one but for all" (written in script on the four corners of the dialplate). Hour numerals are Roman, for 4am to 8pm, in half and quarter hours. The dial is dated 1671 but the gnomon is new, and its fitting has caused some damage, and other fixing holes are evident. Believed to be a duplicate of SRN 1724.
