BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Mary, Beverston

On South porch, about 5000 mm up. Dial cracked horizontally. Supported on two stone brackets. Shows 6 am to 6 pm in hours, no lines visible. Triangular gnomon with serrated inner edges. Dial may pre-date South porch which was rebuilt in 1840. Engraving in church shows earlier cube dial on porch ridge - not now there. The markings are now faint
