BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Wightwick Manor [NT] (1), Wolverhampton

The dial is on the Manor shop. A motto on the gnomon reads: "Aut viam inveniam aut faciam". [Either I’ll find a way or I’ll make one]. The layout of the dial is based on the Wightwick family coat of arms. Hours are indicated by metal plates on the wall, and the only numeral is ’12’ for noon.
