BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Flaxley Abbey, Flaxley

In gardens to east of house. Visible from road. The plate is corroded and it is hard to read anything, but it has a 16-point compass rose, and uses XII and IIII. Gnomon points East (!) whole plate is free to rotate. Supporter a kneeling bearded and winged figure, holding the dial above his head.
