BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Cemetery (1), Eastbourne

SW corner pf Cemetery, by W wall. Short motto is now indecipherable. Shows 4am to 8pm in half, quarter hours and marked in 7.5 mins. Pictorial sun with face and rays at gnomon foot. Memorial to members of the Morris family, who died between 1921 and 1941. Square section stone pedestal and plinth (1200h).
