BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Arbury Hall (1), Nuneaton

The dial is in ther Walled Garden, set on low fat dressed baluster pedestal with circular capital and two step square plinth. The dial is quite worn. Only three cities are legible (Charlestown, New York and Bermuda) Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and I min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside and aligned with hour lines. Noon gap. Compass in dial centre with four cardinal points identified. Gnomon pierced with a floral ’S’ design and surface mounted yet without side supports.
