BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary Magdalene Church, Bolney

Over the South Porch, canted slightly to face south. Initials are AD and ID - presumed to be those of Churchwardens. Shows 6am to 6pm in 30, 15, 10 and possibly 5 min intervals Faint carving. Attractive ’S’ shaped rain release gnomon supporter. Dial plate finely cracked along line of gnomon. Supported on two stone brackets and by four iron clamps.
