BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Baptist Churchyard, off path, Cirencester

The dial is beside the church path. The motto reads: "Use well your time and waste not the fleeting hour", arranged around the circumference of the time scale. Unusual gnomon fabricated from strip with radial supporters. Main style broken off half way. Dial reported to face the wrong way. Shows 4am to 8pm in hours, quarters and eighths. Sun face at centre. Square stone plinth 880h stands on manhole cover..
