BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Nicholas’ Church, Ipswich

Breakarch stone dialplate set on two stone corbels, above entrance into south porch. No hour numerals are visible although some other markings may be faintly seen. The iron gnomon rod is still in place but the unusual gnomon supporter made from an upturned stirrup and large ’S’ is broken away. The church is now disused.
