BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St George’s Church, Thwaite

Sundial set in niche in brickwork of the South porch. A horizontal rod is currently incorrectly positioned in a hole on the dial to act as the gnomon. The dial probably had a conventional gnomon at one time as evidence for a correctly placed gnomon exists. The dial shows the time from 6am to 6pm with the hours indicated in Roman numerals. A Cross Patty marks the Noon line. There are further circles inscribed above the markings of the main dial.
